What is Acetic Acid?
Dilute acetic acid (typically 0.6%) is the standard reconstitution solvent for hydrophobic research peptides such as BPC-157 and certain copper tripeptides where bacteriostatic water leaves the powder cloudy.
Mechanism of action
Low-pH solvent that improves solubility of hydrophobic peptides (e.g. BPC-157, GHK-Cu).
Primary research areas
Reconstitution solvent for hydrophobic research peptides.
Research notes
- Used in place of bacteriostatic water when a peptide will not fully dissolve.
- Always reference the COA / handling sheet for solvent selection.
